MELINDA LEE MASUR

       Lauded for her "impeccable technique and artistic interpretation" [The Columbian] and "lustrous performances [and] extraordinary musicianship" [Incident Light], pianist Melinda Lee Masur has performed on all three stages of Carnegie Hall, at London's Wigmore Hall and Purcell Room, the Berliner Philharmonie, the Ravinia Festival, the Festival Les Muséiques Basel and in cities throughout the United States, Europe and Asia.

       Since founding The Lee Trio in 2002 with her sisters Lisa, violinist, and Angela, cellist, critics have raved about the Trio's "gripping immediacy and freshness" [The Strad]. The Lee Trio regularly performs in Asia and on both sides of the Atlantic and works with living composers to expand the rich piano trio repertoire. Melinda also serves as Artistic Director of the Chelsea Music Festival, an annual summer music festival in New York City lauded as a "gem of a series" byThe New York Times. The Chelsea Music Festival combines performing, visual and culinary arts and features the world’s leading musicians and exciting newcomers on the classical and jazz music stage. Melinda Lee Masur is a graduate of Harvard College and the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover, and is a Steinway Artist.
